Zdeněk Chrdle elected General Manager of AŽD for the fifth time
Governing bodies and a general manager were elected at the general meeting of AŽD Praha held on 24 October 2014. The existing manager, Zdeněk Chrdle, who also acts as the company’s corporate agent together with Roman Juřík a Daniela Veselá, was re-elected general manager. František Formánek, Miroslav Kozák and Petr Rott were elected into the supervisory board.
Zdeněk Chrdle, who has been holding office of general manager of AŽD Praha since 2003, defended the post for another three years having received 24 votes out of the total number of twenty six votes. “I highly appreciate the trust and confidence of the company’s co-owners, for which I am thankful. I will do all my best for our company to keep its position on our market as well as to expand abroad by means of our high quality technologies,” said Zdeněk Chrdle shortly after the election and added: “Under my management the company AŽD Praha will continue to be a correct and fair company. I believe, we will keep and even deepen the trust and confidence of our customers.”
